Oasis Just Dropped a Cryptic Teaser and Here's What Fans Think It Means

Oasis fans went into full detective mode on 3rd September after the band's Instagram posted a short clip of two lads getting a chippy with no caption, no date, no explanation. Within hours, the internet had picked it apart line by line.

The clues fans have decoded

The teaser's family bundle is priced at £55.84. Flip that and you get 55.84, -4 - the latitude and longitude of Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland leading fans to bet the stadium is on the list for a fresh run of dates. A handwritten fridge note in the background reading "keep the fridge at -4" has fans split: some think it's the same coordinate nudge, others think it's a countdown as in, four days until the real announcement drops.

What the theories add up to

Piecing together the clue trail with recent reporting, the shape of a 2027 run is coming into focus: a stretch of Etihad Stadium shows in June, followed by a return to Knebworth, the site of Oasis's biggest-ever gigs likely in September. Those in the know are suggesting the band is holding the formal reveal until after 'Don't Look Back In Anger', the new Oasis documentary, premieres at Venice on September 5 and in London the following week.

Oasis 2027 Tour Venue Rumours 

Some of the rumours circulating include the venues, albeit Oasis have not confirmed tour dates for 2027. Speculation continues after their Live '25 reunion tour.

Reports say Oasis plan a residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The residency may run for 12 nights across May and June 2027 and some sources say the run could reach 20 shows.

There are also reports of a possible return to Knebworth House, where Oasis last played in 1996. In August 2026, promoter SJM Concerts obtained a premises licence for Knebworth and the licence covers events of up to 125,000 people. Neither SJM nor Oasis have confirmed a show there.

Reports also mention a European tour in Paris, Munich, Milan and Rome are named as a possible locations, whilst there are also some shouts for the USA. Nothing has been confirmed, but we'll bring you the news when we have it!

Bookmakers also reduced their odds on an Oasis show at Slane Castle in Ireland. This followed reports of the planned Manchester residency, with speculation about a Slane show grew during summer 2026. No confirmation has been made by Oasis or their partners.

This is not confirmed. Bookmakers reduced their odds on an Oasis show at Slane Castle in Ireland. Speculation about a Slane show grew during summer 2026 with references to 12 night residency. Fontaines D.C. are confirmed to headline Slane Castle on 26 June 2027. Oasis have not been confirmed or ruled out at the venue however, owner Alex Conyngham has said the band is always welcome at Slane Castle.
