F1 Ticket Types Explained
General Admission
General Admission tickets give you access to unreserved viewing areas around the circuit. You are free to move throughout the weekend, explore the track perimeter and watch from multiple points across different sessions.
Best for: Fans who want flexibility, value, and the freedom to roam. GA works best at circuits with multiple strong natural viewing points. Silverstone and Spa are particularly well designed for general admission tickets.
Grandstand Tickets
A reserved seat in an elevated, designated grandstand. You know exactly where you are sitting, you can arrive when you like and you have a clear, unobstructed sightline to the track.
Best for: Most fans. If you are attending your first Grand Prix or travelling specifically to watch from a seated point, grandstand tickets are the right call.
Paddock Club Hospitality
The F1 Paddock Club is the official premium hospitality experience, operated by Formula 1 itself. Your ticket includes a reserved grandstand seat, access to an exclusive two-storey hospitality suite above the pit lane, gourmet food and drink throughout each day. Plus a pit lane walk and the ability to watch cars being worked on in the garages from a privileged position.
Best for: Fans for whom the Grand Prix is an occasion as much as a race. Corporate entertainment, milestone celebrations, or simply fans who want the full, unrestricted F1 experience.
Cons: The cost is significant. Paddock Club packages typically start from £1,500+ per person per day,
Multi-Day Weekend Tickets
Every F1 weekend runs across three days: Friday practice, Saturday qualifying, and Sunday race day. Weekend tickets cover all three. You can also buy single day tickets for qualifying only or race day only which is how many fans with tighter budgets get into the event without paying for the full package.
Saturday qualifying is often underrated. The session is shorter and Qualifying can be more intense than the race itself. Usually cheaper than race day tickets, It is worth attending if you are only picking one day
British Grand Prix Tickets — Silverstone
The British Grand Prix is the crown jewel of the F1 calendar for UK fans. Silverstone has hosted Formula 1 since 1950. The very first World Championship Grand Prix was held here and the circuit remains one of the fastest, most technically demanding and atmospherically intense stops on the entire season.
Circuit: Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire
Race weekend: Friday practice sessions, Saturday qualifying, Sunday race
Grandstand tickets for the British Grand Prix regularly sell out months before race weekend. General Admission tickets go shortly after. Do not wait around as entry is limited.
Formula 1 Grand Prix Calendar - Global Races
Love1Ticket sells F1 tickets across the entire season. Here are the races most popular with UK and international fans.
Bahrain Grand Prix - Sakhir International Circuit
Night race conditions, flat desert circuit. Bahrain is one of the most accessible overseas Grand Prix weekends for UK fans with direct flights from London of just 6 hours and hotels at reasonable prices compared to Monaco or Las Vegas.
Monaco Grand Prix - Circuit de Monaco
The most iconic race on the calendar. Monaco is about the location, the history, the yachts in the harbour a pedigree in motorsport. No experience in motorsport compares to it. Tickets are extraordinarily limited and must be booked 12 months in advance.
Spanish Grand Prix - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
A technically demanding circuit near Barcelona, the Spanish Grand Prix draws massive crowds and benefits from reliable summer weather. The city of Barcelona makes this one of the most complete Grand Prix weekends on the calendar with excellent racing, an extraordinary city and a well organised event.
Canadian Grand Prix - Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal
One of the most beloved street circuits on the calendar. Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve built on an island in the middle of the St Lawrence River. The city is outstanding, the atmosphere is electric and the Wall of Champions at the final chicane creates drama in almost every race.
Belgian Grand Prix - Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Spa is widely regarded as the greatest racing circuit in the world. Set in the forests of the Ardennes, the circuit combines extraordinary high speed sections including the legendary Eau Rouge/Raidillon. General Admission at Spa can actually rival grandstand seats at other circuits, with natural hillside viewing points that offer spectacular panoramas of the circuit.
Dutch Grand Prix - Circuit Zandvoort
Zandvoort immediately became one of the most popular races on the calendar. Set among sand dunes on the Dutch coast, the circuit's banked corners and compact layout produce close racing and the Dutch fanbase. An atmosphere that is unmatched in F1. Tickets for Zandvoort are among the hardest to source on the entire calendar.
Italian Grand Prix - Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Monza is the fastest circuit in Formula 1 and the spiritual home of Ferrari. The Tifosi, Ferrari's Italian fan army make this race exhilarating. If Ferrari are competitive, the atmosphere inside Monza becomes incredible. The circuit is set in a park just north of Milan, and the combination of city, culture and racing makes this an extraordinary three day weekend.
Singapore Grand Prix - Marina Bay Street Circuit
Formula 1's only true night race (on a permanent basis), the Singapore Grand Prix is held under floodlights along the Marina Bay waterfront. The combination of the city's extraordinary skyline, the humidity and the technical complexity of the street circuit creates an unique event. Singapore is also an exceptional city.
Japanese Grand Prix - Suzuka Circuit
Suzuka is one of the oldest, most technically demanding and beloved circuits in Formula 1. The figure of eight layout, the legendary 130R corner and the Suzuka Esses make this a circuit that drivers consistently rate as their favourite on the calendar. Japanese motorsport fans are among the most knowledgeable and passionate in the world. This is a bucket list race weekend.
United States Grand Prix - Circuit of the Americas, Austin
Austin's Circuit of the Americas brought proper Formula 1 racing back to the United States. Set in Texas Hill Country on the outskirts of Austin, COTA has a fanbase that mixes traditional motorsport obsessives with a new generation of fans brought to the sport by the Netflix F1 documentary Drive to Survive.
Las Vegas Grand Prix - Las Vegas Strip Circuit
The circuit runs along the iconic Strip, past casinos and hotels that become the race's most distinctive backdrop. Las Vegas Grand Prix tickets have become some of the most sought after (and competitively priced) on the calendar. Top tip; Book very early.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - Yas Marina Circuit
The season finale. Yas Marina is a modern, purpose built circuit on Abu Dhabi's Yas Island, surrounded by extraordinary infrastructure. Hotels, theme parks, and restaurants within walking distance of the venue. The final race of the season carries all the drama of a title decider if the championship is undecided going into the last round. Abu Dhabi is one of the most comfortable Grand Prix weekends for travelling fans.
