Tips for attending

Take the tube, not a car. Wembley is a designated public transport destination. On street parking is heavily restricted on event days and road closures are in effect from 10am. The tube adds significantly less stress than driving.

Have your ticket ready before you arrive. Wembley uses digital only ticketing and paper tickets are not accepted. Screenshot your ticket in case of poor mobile signal near the ground, which can happen with 90,000 people in one place.

Bring a card, not cash. Wembley is fully cashless. Every food, drink and merchandise kiosk inside the ground accepts contactless and card payment only. No cash will be accepted anywhere inside the stadium.

Arrive early. With 90,000 fans funnelling through the same entry points, queues build quickly in the final 30 minutes before kick off. Give yourself at least an hour from Wembley Park station.

Views are great from pretty much anywhere. Every seat at Wembley has an unobstructed view of the pitch. For football, halfway line seats in the lower or club tier give the best tactical view. Behind the goals is about atmosphere, with partial restriction due to the goalposts and net.
