First Time at a London Event?
- Book early - London is the busy city and its best events sell out fast. Premier League football, West End shows, Wimbledon, Chelsea Flower Show and NYE Fireworks tickets all sell out quickly.
- Plan your transport - London's tube network is excellent but gets extremely busy around major events. Check which line serves your venue and allow extra travel time. Avoid driving in central London, the heavy traffic is frustrating and the Congestion Charge applies Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm. Parking is limited and expensive across the city.
- Arrive early - Give yourself at least 60 to 90 minutes before the start of the event. London's streets and transport links get congested on event days.
- Check bag policies - All major venues operate strict bag size limits. Small bags only, typically no larger than A4 size. Expect thorough security searches at stadiums, arenas, and major outdoor events.
- Download your E-Tickets before you leave - Most London venues now use mobile tickets via a phone app or digital wallet pass. Make sure your phone is fully charged. Some venues require PDF paper tickets. Love1Ticket provides clear delivery instructions for every event so you always know exactly what to expect.
