The main FIFA lottery phases have closed. Two routes to official tickets remain open.

The first is FIFA's Last-Minute Sales phase, which runs first-come, first-served and is the final window to buy directly from FIFA. That marketplace stays open until the end of the tournament.

How much do tickets cost?

FIFA uses variable pricing across four categories. For Group Stage matches, official face-value prices start at $60 for Category 4 and reach $250 for Category 1.

AT&T Stadium: getting there and what to expect

AT&T Stadium is in Arlington, roughly midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. There's no direct rail link, so most fans drive or use ride-share. Large surface car parks surround the stadium but fill quickly for big events — arrive at least two to three hours before kick-off.

The stadium has a retractable roof and air conditioning, which matters in Texas in June when temperatures regularly exceed 35°C. You won't feel the heat inside, but the walk from parking to the gates can be uncomfortable, so dress accordingly.

Check FIFA's official entry requirements before you travel. Cashless payment is standard at North American stadiums, and bags are subject to size restrictions at the gate.

Head to head and recent form

England and Croatia met at a World Cup once before. In the 2018 semi-final in Moscow, Croatia beat England 2–1 after extra time and went on to finish runners-up that year. They took third place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

England qualified for 2026 by winning all eight games in their UEFA qualifying group, scoring 22 goals and conceding none. Their biggest result was a 5–0 win away in Serbia. Thomas Tuchel is England's head coach.

Is it worth going?

Honestly, it depends on your budget and how far you're travelling. Face-value tickets start at $60, but Category 4 seats at a 93,000-capacity stadium can mean a long way from the pitch. If you're flying from the UK, factor in flights, hotels in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and getting around Arlington without a car. That said, England's opening World Cup match against a side that knocked them out in 2018 has genuine edge to it.
