Aston Villa in the Champions League: How to Get Tickets
Champions League
← Back to all articlesAston Villa are back in the Champions League, and Villa Park has three league-phase nights left: Viking on Wednesday 21 October, Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday 8 December and Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday 19 January. With most of the ground held by season ticket holders, getting Aston Villa Champions League tickets is hard if you aren't one.
Here is how the club sells them, what they cost on the resale market and how to buy without a membership.

Why Villa tickets are so hard to get
Villa Park is smaller than Anfield, Old Trafford or the Etihad, and season ticket holders take the large majority of it. The few thousand seats left for each game go to members in a priority window, and with tens of thousands of members chasing them, European nights rarely reach a general sale.
UEFA gives the visiting club around 5% of each ground, and Villa allocate those to members with away credits.
On Love1Ticket, Villa Park's European games have far fewer listings than the big Manchester and Liverpool grounds, so the cheaper seats go first. If you want a particular game, book early.

Where to sit at Villa Park
Holte End
Villa's famous home end at the south of the ground, and the loudest place to be on a European night.
Trinity Road Stand
The long side to the east, with its red-and-white roof. A good view of the whole pitch.
Doug Ellis Stand
The long side to the west. Visiting fans are in the lower tier, home fans in the upper.
Hospitality
From about £464 to £582 for the European games on Love1Ticket, depending on the opponent.
Getting there
Witton station is about 500 metres from the ground and Aston about 1.5 km. Buses 7 and 11 also stop nearby. See the Villa Park stadium guide.
Following Villa away
Barcelona, Istanbul and Prague are three of the trips of the season. Away-end tickets go through the club. A resale ticket for these games will almost always be in a home section, so leave the claret and blue at home and allow extra time at the gates.
